Maryland State Police say an investigation had led to numerous theft charges against the now-former Princess Anne Town Manager, who resigned earlier this week.
Troopers say 56-year-old Deborah Hrusko of Salisbury was charged on Wednesday with theft and theft scheme of $25,000 to $100,000 from the Town of Princess Anne government between January 1, 2019 and January 10, 2020. The State Police investigation was launched at the request of Princess Anne Police Chief Tim Bozman. Troopers discovered evidence to support that Hrusko stole up to $66,287 from the town of Princess Anne.
The investigation is ongoing in conjunction with the Somerset County State’s Attorney. Hrusko faces a March court hearing.
